Rahul Bose, who will be next seen in Berlin with Aparshakti Khurrana, is one of the most versatile actors. He has made a special place in the hearts of his fans. But recently he recalled a shocking experience he faced on his debut film set. Rahul mentioned that he was not offered a chair to sit on the sets but director’s relatives were given. And since then he has been getting his chair.

Speaking to The Lallantop, Rahul said, “I was not given a chair to sit in my first film. I was the lead actor. I have never struggled; I went straight from the stage to playing the lead role, and the film had no heroine—it was just me. Yet, I was never given a chair on set. Sometimes I would sit on a road divider or a parapet, as if it was no problem, but other people always had chairs. The producer, his sister, his uncle—everyone got a chair, except me.”

After enduring several days of this treatment, Rahul decided bring his own chair to the set. “I went to a restaurant, and they had a fancy version of the chair that was on set. It cost Rs 10,000 about 30 years ago, but I got my own chair. Since that experience, I always bring my own chair to the set because I never want to go through that humiliation again,” he added.

Coming to Rahul Bose’s next, Berlin is a thriller film and also stars Ishwak Singh, Aparshakti Khurrana and Kabir Bedi among others.

Aparshakti Khurana’s upcoming film ‘Berlin’ has been making the right kind of noise at the international film festivals. Now, his film is all set to have an Australian Premiere at the 15th edition of the esteemed Indian International Film Festival of Melbourne.   ‘Berlin’ is slated to narrate a story about a deaf-mute young man who is accused and arrested by the bureau for being a spy. The film, with an intriguing plot, promises to take the audiences on a rollercoaster of misunderstandings and curiosity.
