The release of GOAT is being celebrated like a festival by Thalapathy Vijay fans.
Thalapathy Vijay and Venkat Prabhu have created magic on the silver screen with their recently released film, The Greatest of All Time (GOAT). The film has created a stir at the box office and has already recorded a phenomenal opening above Rs 100 crore globally. The spy thriller has minted about Rs 43 crore net at the domestic box office. It has received mixed reviews and has performed well in the theatres. The release of the film is being celebrated just like a festival by Thalapathy Vijay’s fans. It has also received immense support and appreciation from audiences. In GOAT, actress Sneha portrays the role of Thalapathy Vijay’s love interest, which marks their reunion after Vaseegara. To celebrate the success of the film, Sneha recently joined fans at the Vijaya Theatre on East Coast Road (ECR). She cut a cake and gave about 200 saplings to fans who came to watch the film.
GOAT hit the silver screens worldwide on September 5. It is directed by Venkat Prabhu and also stars Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Ajmal, Mike Mohan, Vaibhav, Premji, Laila, Sneha, and Meenakshi Chaudhary. With music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, the film’s release was celebrated with great enthusiasm by Vijay’s fans. In Tamil Nadu alone, the movie was released in 1,100 theatres.
Everybody seemed to want to catch the ‘first-day first show’ (FDFS). Did you know one prominent star, who was featured in the film, went to watch GOAT along with fans, by wearing a mask to stay incognito. It was actress Meenakshi Chaudhary, who decided to watch the film and also witnessed the reaction of the audience. She also shared a photo of herself watching the film and captured the excitement of the cine-goers in the hall.
