Patralekhaa shared BTS pictures from the sets of IC 814: The Kandahar
Patralekhaa is enjoying the success of her latest release, IC 814: The Kandahar Hijack. She stars as Indrani, one of the air hostesses, in this Anubhav Sinha-directed series. Recently, she shared a glimpse of the behind-the-scenes action on her Instagram account, along with a heartfelt note expressing her gratitude for the overwhelming love and support she has received since the series’ release.
In the first clip of the carousel, Patralekhaa was seen posing with a clapperboard, and the following two pictures featured her look test for her role as Indrani. The last two slides were selfies of the actress inside the plane where IC 814 was filmed.
Sharing the carousel, Patralekhaa wrote, “Overwhelmed with the love coming my way…Sharing a few BTS images. Few of them while we were filming and the other two are from the look test.”
Patralekhaa is not only receiving appreciation and love from the audience for her latest role, but her husband, Rajkummar Rao, has turned out to be her greatest cheerleader as well. Soon after the actress posted the BTS pictures, the Stree 2 actor commented, “Awesomeeeeee Show and Phenomenal performance love. So proud of you,” followed by several red hearts and hugging face emojis.
Meanwhile, Rajkummar, who is riding high on the success of his film Stree 2, also shared an appreciation post for his wife on his Instagram account. Sharing a few stills of Patralekhaa from IC 814, the proud husband mentioned, “My dearest Patralekhaa, My heart is filled with pride seeing you getting so much love for your performance in IC814 where some reviewers said your performance shines the most in the show or yours is their favourite performance in the show.”
He further praised Patralekhaa’s dedication and hard work, highlighting how she shot back-to-back projects on the trot. The actor also talked about how he always had immense faith in his wife and added that he knew people would recognise her talent with “just that one right piece of work.” He wrote, “I’ve seen you working so hard, in these last couple of years, shooting and then not shooting for months and then shooting 2 things back to back. I’ve always had this immense faith in you and I knew it was just that one right piece of work where people would notice you and your talent and would shower all their love and praises on you. It started with #CityLights, where you were the best thing in the film and now IC814.”
Rajkummar expressed his excitement about Patralekhaa’s upcoming projects, saying, “Phule and Gulkanda Tales are yet to release where you are phenomenal again. Your Grit and Passion for your work are truly inspiring, my love, and nobody deserves this more than you. You deserve all the happiness in the world. Cherish this moment. I Love you. Your proud Husband.”
Anubhav Sinha’s IC 814: The Kandahar Hijack was released on Netflix on August 29 and features an ensemble cast including Vijay Varma, Naseeruddin Shah, Pankaj Kapoor, Dia Mirza, Manoj Pahwa and many others.
