Retired teachers are now going to get work again in UP as the state government is going to recruit them under ‘School Har Din Aaye’ programme

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s government, under ‘School Har Din Aaye’ programme, is to teach children who do not attend school. Retired teachers are going to be recruited for this with an honorarium of Rs 6000 per month.

The appointment process of these teachers is also going to start soon. For this, instructions have been issued from the government level. Director General of School Education Department Kanchan Verma has given instructions to start the selection process soon. The block-level committee will select the retired teachers.

What will the retired teachers do?

The responsibility of the children who does not go to school will be handed over to these retired teachers under ‘School Har Din Aayen’ (SHDA) programme.

The government is running a campaign across the state to motivate children to come to school daily. But still children are not coming to some government schools. To improve the situation, the government plans to appoint retired teachers in schools where five or more children are not coming to school daily, so that the children gets education.

These children from the age of six to 14 years will be given admission in various classes. Arrangements will be made to teach these children under the SHDA program.
