Tuesday turned out to be a historic day for India at the Paris Games with Manu Bhaker becoming the first woman from her country to win multiple Olympic medals in a single edition. She combined with Sarabjot Singh to win the 10m Air Pistol mixed team bronze medal.
On Wednesday, there will be one potential medal on offer for Indian athletes to win on the fifth day of the 2024 Paris Olympics.
A host of Indian athletes will be in action in Paris on Wednesday as shooters Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar and Swapnil Kusale, in the 50m Rifle 3 Positions qualifiers, and Shreyasi Singh and Rajeshwari Kumari, in the Women’s Trap, look to book their spot in the final.
Shuttlers PV Sindhu, Lakshya Sen and HS Prannoy look to progress to the knockouts. Veteran archers Tarundeep Rai and Deepika Kumari will also be in action in individual events after their disappointing show in their respective team events.
Paddlers Sreeja Akula and Manika Batra will also be in action as so will boxers Nishant Dev and Lovlina Borgohain.
