Asim Riaz, amid his elimination controversy from Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, has been dropping back-to-back songs. Following his last release titled Only You, the singer is now back with a new number, Built In Pain Vol 2. Set to drop the song soon, the former Bigg Boss contestant has teased his fans with BTS pictures and videos of the track in an Instagram post.
Asim Riaz’s latest Instagram entry features two pictures and a clip. In the first snap, we can see the rapper cum singer posing in what appears to be a music studio. The monochrome video attached next is a BTS clip from the filming of his new song, wherein he is seen crooning the lyrics of the upcoming project. The final image captured him flaunting his ripped muscular body. Captioning the post, Asim wrote, “BUILT IN PAIN.”
Asim Riaz’s upcoming song is not the only reason he is making headlines for. Ever since the inception of Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, he has been in the news for all the wrong reasons. His dramatic argument with Rohit Shetty led to his elimination from the stunt based show.
ICYDW, the incident that triggered the clash saw Asim Riaz not being able to perform the stunt he was given. When his co-contestants asked him to take responsibility for his failure, Asim claimed that the challenge was impossible. He told the team, “Do it in front of me. I won’t take a rupee from you guys. If you do it, I won’t take a rupee, camera is on.”
Rohit Shetty, the host of the show, then showed him a rehearsal clip where a crew was seen performing the stunt. The ace director even reprimanded Asim for his behaviour and even threatened to thrash the singer. Later, Asim was asked to leave the show as Rohit Shetty announced, “I wish him all the luck but now he can’t continue in this show. He has a point of view, no doubt about it and I respect that. I wish him all the luck. He is a young kid and may god bless him with success.”
The song Built In Pain was released in 2021. It highlighted Asim Riaz’s struggles while trying to make his career in the entertainment world. As for VOL 2, it will mark Asim’s collaboration with Dr Zeus.
