Besides, the team of Telugu action film Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, written and directed by Vivek Athreya and starring Nani and Priyanka Mohan, has released a new video titled ‘No Teaser’, coinciding with the birthday of SJ Suryah, who plays the antagonist in the film.
The video equates Suryah’s role of a ruthless cop with Narakasura and hints at a face-off with the lead cast’s characters equated with Krishna and Satyabhama. The video begins with a voiceover saying that whenever an evil force gets stronger, an equal or more powerful force emerges to fight it.
The video ends with Nani sitting amidst a burning compound while his rivals lie on the ground after being beaten up and blood splattered on his face. “Happy birthday, sir,” he says as we see a manic Dayanand in uniform, laughing devilishly, smoking a cigarette and lying in a blood-stained cell.
Saripodhaa Sanivaaram is the first action film from director Vivek Athreya, who is known for family dramas and comedies like Mental Madhilo, Ante Sundaraniki and Brochevarevarura. Saripodhaa Sanivaaram is his second collaboration with Nani after Ante Sundaraniki.
