When someone can be killed by openly firing amidst the security cordon of the police, then what about the safety of the general public. An atmosphere of fear is being created in the middle, it seems, some people are deliberately creating such an environment.
  • Priyanka Gandhi Said, “The law of our country is paramount. The culprits should be given the harshest punishment, but it should be under the law of the land. Playing with or violating the rule of law and judicial process for any political purpose is against our democracy.” Not right for.”
  • mayawati tweeted and wrote, “Like the Umesh Pal murder case, Atiq Ahmed and Ashraf were openly shot dead in police custody in Prayagraj. Raises many serious question marks on the law and order of the UP government and its functioning. It would be better if the Supreme Court itself takes appropriate action after taking cognizance of this very serious and very thought provoking incident which has been discussed all over the country. Anyway, instead of ‘Rule of Law by Law’ in Uttar Pradesh, now how appropriate is it to become an encounter state? Something to think about.”
  • Asaduddin Owaisi Said, “The responsibility of the murder of Atiq-Ashraf rests with the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. If constitutional morality is alive in him, he will have to leave his post. • Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut Said, “It is a state subject. Murder happened, Section 144 was imposed. The government there did it and they are capable of doing it. It is their subject, but if the murder happened in broad daylight among the police, then it is a serious matter.” It raises a big question on law and order.
  • Congress leader Rashid Alvi Said, “This shows how the law and order situation is in Uttar Pradesh. The Chief Minister of UP repeatedly says that law and order is perfect in his state. This is a big conspiracy, there should be an inquiry. The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh should resign.

This is a premeditated murder, if the investigating agency is correct then big people will be trapped. The Chief Minister had said that they will mix in the soil. Nothing is going to happen to the people of UP. Whatever is happening in Uttar Pradesh has never happened before.”
  • Bhim Army Chief Chandrashekhar Azad tweeted and wrote, “This is not just a massacre, but an example of violence and terrorism growing under the protection of power. There is no such thing as law and order left in UP. Murders happen openly in police custody. Yogi government has failed.” President’s rule should be imposed in Uttar Pradesh.”
