Getting out will be difficult. His residence Former chief minister Thackeray on Tuesday launched a scathing attack on Fadnavis, who also holds the home portfolio, as “useless” following the alleged assault on a woman Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) worker in adjoining Thane city.

Talking to reporters here, Bawankule said the Leader of the Opposition, a former ally of the BJP, should refrain from making any further personal comments on Fadnavis.

warned, “Uddhav Thackeray was forgiven when he made a personal attack on our leader Devendra Fadnavis, but we will not tolerate if he repeats it. If he makes another personal attack on Fadnavis, we Will make it difficult for them to step out of their homes.” Former Minister of State.

“I have challenged him to make another personal attack against Fadnavis,” Bawankule said.

Referring to the previous BJP-led government in Maharashtra (2014-19) when Fadnavis was the chief minister and shared power with the undivided Shiv Sena, Bawankule said his party colleague always treated Thackeray with respect and addressed his grievances.

“Fadnavis (as chief minister) gave top priority to Thackeray and he agreed to do whatever Thackeray asked him to do. Fadnavis would also visit his residence (in Mumbai’s suburb of Bandra) and listen to his demands. How can Thackeray be so ungrateful to him.” asked the state BJP president.

Responding to a question, Bawankule ruled out the possibility of the BJP forging an alliance with the Thackeray-led Shiv Sena.

“Those who cheated us have no place in the BJP camp. We will not forge an alliance with them,” asserted Bawankule, which is in alliance with the Shiv Sena led by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.

The undivided Shiv Sena walked out of the saffron alliance and formed a government in the state with the NCP and the Congress in 2019 with Thackeray as chief minister.
