Nepal plane crash: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday announced financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh each for the families of four youths from Uttar Pradesh’s Ghazipur district who died in a plane crash in Nepal.

He also condoled the death of the people of Ghazipur in the plane crash on Sunday.

Nepalese authorities on Tuesday began handing over bodies of those killed to family members, two days after a Yeti Airlines plane carrying 72 people, including five Indians, crashed in the resort town of Pokhara, as the death toll rose to 71. Went.

Nepal Army spokesman Narayan Siwal said two more bodies were recovered from the crash site on Tuesday, taking the total number of dead to 71.

In a statement issued by the state government, the chief minister has announced a financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh each to the families of Ghazipur who died in the accident. He said that the state government would also bear the cost of bringing the dead body from Nepal.

District Magistrate Arayaka Akhori had said that four youths of Ghazipur namely Abhishek Kushwaha, Sonu Jaiswal, Vishal Sharma and Anil Kumar Rajbhar were killed in Nepal accident on Sunday.
