Woman Accused Of Theft Found Hanging At House Inside Medical College Campus | Allahabad News – Times of India

PRAYAGRAJ: A 40-year-old woman allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself at the servant quarters inside the campus of MLN medical college under the limits of Georgetown police station on Wednesday, police said.
The reason behind the act was still unknown, they said adding that body has been sent for post mortem.
Inspector (Georgetown) Brijesh Singh told TOI: “No suicide note was recovered from the scene. The incident took place when her husband and daughter had gone to market.”
Singh said a few days back, victim Chaya Yadav, who was staying at the servant quarters for the past 15 years and working at the residence of a lady doctor inside MLN medical college campus, was accused of stealing articles from the employer’s house.
The victim had even returned some of the stolen articles when cops had questioned her. In a separate case, body of a 28-year-old auto driver Kshitij Mishra was recovered from his residence in world bank colony under the limits of Naini police station on Wednesday morning. No suicide note was recovered, police said adding that locals had last spotted Mishra four days back and his room was not opened for the past three days.
