Jackson Warne has fulfilled the long-standing ambition of his late father and Australian legend Shane Warne to attend the main event of his trip to Las Vegas. World Poker Series. Shane Warne’s passion for poker was well known and he often traveled abroad to attend various events.
Shane and Jackson had long intended to attend an event in Las Vegas together, but the maestro’s untimely death after a heart attack meant he could not fulfill his dream.

Jackson’s brother Brooke Warne has now revealed that the father-son duo was planning to travel to Vegas and play together. “It’s been his dream since he first started playing the game,” Brooke wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of Shane that saw him and Jackson as youngsters.
“Dad and Jaco were going to play side by side this year. I couldn’t be prouder to play Jackson today. You’re going to make Dad and all of us so proud. I know Dad will be with you with all my soul, Brooke said.
After the first day of the $10,000-admission-fee event, luck and skill appeared to favor Jackson.
Jackson had $82,900 in chips at the end of the first day. “At a break of 20 minutes. feeling comfortable. I won every hand I played. Sitting at $82,900cm,” he posted in an Instagram story.

The 23-year-old, who participated in Channel 7’s SAS Australia last year, has previously said how meaningful the journey was for her.
“This trip was my first time playing the WSOP main event with my best friend and dad,” he wrote in an Instagram post.
“Miss you a lot and I wish you were here playing with me. I will make you proud,” he said.
The entire cricketing world was deeply shocked by the death of Shane Warne. He is regarded by many as one of the greatest spinners to have graced the game. Warne will always be remembered as an icon who crossed boundaries and took the game of cricket to new heights.
