‘Your affection is priceless’ – Yuvraj Singh thanks fans on completion of three years of cricketer’s retirement

the former India World Cup winning all-rounder Yuvraj Singh has shared a heart-wrenching video on the completion of three years of his retirement from international cricket. In the video, fans and followers can be seen remembering some of Yuvraj’s iconic moments on the field. Yuvraj’s mother and wife have revealed the southpaw’s routine post retirement.

“It’s been 3 years since I hung up my shoes today but your love for me has only grown by leaps and bounds! Thank you to my friends, family and fans for always supporting me in every way possible and putting this heartwarming video together Your affection is priceless,” Yuvraj wrote in the caption.

Yuvraj’s mother Shabnam Singh claimed that her son married golf after retirement. Yuvraj’s mother further said that she has not seen him for some time.

On the other hand, Yuvraj’s wife Hazel Keech revealed that the former India all-rounder is busy changing her baby’s nappies. Notably, Yuvraj and Hazel became parents to a baby boy earlier this year.

Hazel can be heard saying in the video, “Among other things, Yuvi is busy changing a lot of nappies now, especially the poopy ones.”

Yuvraj made his international debut in 2000 against Kenya. The star all-rounder didn’t get a chance to bat in that game, but he showed off his bowling. The Chandigarh-born cricketer conceded 16 runs and scored a maiden after bowling four overs.

In the longest format of the game, Yuvraj played his first match in 2003 against New Zealand in Mohali.

In the 2011 World Cup, Yuvraj displayed his superb all-round abilities as Team India won the coveted trophy. He was also named Man of the Series after scoring 362 runs in nine matches and taking 15 wickets.

Overall, in ODIs, Yuvraj played 304 matches and scored 8701 runs with 14 centuries and 52 half-centuries. In Test cricket, Yuvraj played for the Indian team on 40 occasions as he scored 1900 runs, three centuries and 11 half-centuries.
