BMW G 310 RR pre-bookings open in India, to be launched on July 15

BMW Motorrad has started the pre-launch bookings for the new BMW G 310 RR in the Indian market. The company is preparing space for the launch of new mid-level sports bikes and hence is entering this segment as well. Till now BMW has been selling premium bikes in the Indian market. The new 310cc bike is expected to attract more consumers after its launch on July 15, thereby expanding the company’s base in the Indian market.

The new BMW G 310 RR has a platform developed in partnership with TVS Motors. Both the companies will use the platform for their models. It is worth noting that the BMW G 310 GS adventure-tourer will have a single platform. Apart from this, it is the same platform that has been used in the TVS Apache RR 310. Apart from this, the new mid-level sports bike will have similarities to the RR 310.

Based on the look revealed by the company in the teaser. The design of the BMW G 310 RR mimics the design elements of the Apache RR 310. It can be called a rebadged version of the RR 310. The company also gave a sneak peek at the upcoming bike’s color scheme and new sticker design. The bike has red, blue and purple color outfits which give it a special look.

The mechanics of the bike along with the looks should be exactly the same as the Apache. It will be powered by the same 310 c single-cylinder engine, which is also used in the BMW G 310 Twins. The engine produces 34 hp of maximum power and 27.3 Nm of peak torque. The engine transfers power to the wheel using a six-speed manual gearbox.
