Due to the addition of CBT 2 in Railway Group D, including the discrepancy in the result of RRB NTPC on January 15 released by the Railway Recruitment Board, students in different cities of the country are protesting in various ways by stopping the railways. Demonstrations were held by stopping the train, especially at the Rajendra Nagar terminal in Patna, Bihar, which is called the railway coaching hub. After which the administration used lathi charge and tear gas shells on the students. Students say that the central government has now come down to its arbitrariness, it is doing whatever it wants. The matter is that in the form of electoral lollipop in 2019 by the central government, about 138000 vacancies were taken out in railways. After winning the election, the government had forgotten this vacancy that it has to increase its process further.
The second issue is related to the Group D job of the students. Around 138000 vacancies were taken out by the Railways for the post of Group D in 2019, in which it was said to be given job only after CBT 1, PET, Medical. But till now the exam is not conducted. It was announced by the Recruitment Board to start the exam from 23 February 2022. But a month before the exam, CBT 2 was added in the recruitment process, due to which the student is very angry. Some students told that the central government has made the recruitment process a five-year plan, before the election, they shower jobs, and after finishing the whole process, the second election comes. Conducting elections in time in the country is an important task of the government. But it is also not right to ignore the demand of the youth. The good thing is that the government has constituted a committee to understand the demand and sentiment of the agitating youth.
