Indian skipper Virat Kohli was seen enjoying India’s practice session in South Africa ahead of the start of the first Test against the Proteas in a video posted by the BCCI. In the video, we see captain Virat Kohli playing a game of kick-volleyball with other players and coach Rahul Dravid.
The visuals are a sign that the Indian team is unaffected by the off-field fuss over Virat Kohli’s white-ball captaincy.

India’s strength and conditioning coach Soham Desai said that the Indian team took to the field for a practice session after days of tough quarantine, thus to make the players comfortable, they did low-risk training sessions with only stretching and running opted for. Players also enjoyed a game of kick-volleyball or footvolley.
The three-match Test series between the two teams will start from December 26 at Centurion. The second Test match of the South Africa vs India three-match Test series will be played in Johannesburg from January 3 to January 7, 2022 and the third and final Test between the two teams will be played from January 11 at the Newlands Stadium in Cape Town. January 15, 2022. The India vs South Africa Test series is part of the ICC World Test Championship.
