Greater Noida: A 28-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday in the alleged case dowry murder of his wife, who jumped off the 8th floor of the building skyscraper society of Greater Noida,
The accused has been identified as Dev Sharan Sharma, a resident of Devsharan Sharma. Supertech Eco Village in Bisrakh.
“We got a call about a man lying in a pool of blood in the society premises around 8.30 pm on Sunday night. A police team reached the spot and the woman was taken to the hospital, where doctors declared her brought dead,” said Anita Chauhan, SHO of Bisrakh police station.
Initially, during the investigation, it was revealed that before the woman took such a big step, there was a fight with her husband over dowry. After the incident, the woman’s family has filed a case of dowry murder against Sharma.
