Jerusalem: A man hanging from a hot air balloon basket fell on a street in Israel on Tuesday, police said.
He said it was not immediately clear why he was holding the basket when it was flying. Israeli media reported that the man was a member of the balloon’s ground crew.
Photos on Israeli news websites showed him holding a red and white basket in the middle. Police said he fell on a road in the north of the country from a height of about 100 meters (330 ft).
The pilot of the balloon landed the craft safely.
