US series Ray Donovan to get Hindi remake, Rana and Venkatesh Daggubati to star

Streaming platform Netflix on Wednesday announced that South stars Venkatesh Daggubati and Rana Daggubati have signed on to star in “Rana Naidu”, the Indian adaptation of the acclaimed American TV series “Ray Donovan”. The series will follow the life of Rana Naidu, who is well known to all Bollywood when they have a problem.

‘Inside Edge’ fame Karan Anshuman is the show runner and director of the show and Suparan Verma (‘The Family Man’ season two) will co-direct it. The series, which will be in Hindi, will see the real-life uncle and nephew duo – Venkatesh and Rana – sharing the screen for the first time.

Rana, who has worked in Hindi films like “Dum Maro Dum” and “Baby”, said he is thrilled to work with his uncle Venkatesh. “It’s a very first special for me.
