At least nine people were killed in three explosions on passenger vehicles in the city of Mazar-e-Sharif in Afghanistan on Wednesday, Reuters news agency reported. Taliban spokesman in Balkh, Mohammad Wajeri, said explosions also occurred in northern Balkh province, injuring 15 people.
Another explosion occurred at a mosque in Kabul on Wednesday evening, a spokesman for the capital’s commander said, injuring at least two people.
An emergency hospital in Kabul said in a tweet that they found five bodies from the blast and more than a dozen injured patients.
