872 dengue patients admitted in government hospitals of Prayagraj

The Chief Medical Officer assured that there is no shortage of platelets in the blood banks in the district.

Prayagraj (Uttar Pradesh):

Chief Medical Officer Nanak Saran said that till Friday, a total of 872 patients suffering from dengue have been admitted to government hospitals.

“Out of the total cumulative cases, 628 patients come from urban areas, while the rest 244 come from rural areas,” Saran told ANI.

He also assured that there is no shortage of platelets in the blood banks in the district.

The Chief Medical Officer also informed that there is no report of any casualty due to dengue in the district.
