7th Pay Commission: There is good news for lakhs of central government employees of the country because the government can soon restore the pending dearness allowance (DA). At present, the employees are getting 31 per cent dearness allowance. Employees have not received arrears from January 2020 to June 2021. It is expected that the government can take a decision on this in a meeting with the Cabinet Secretary.

At present, there are 33 lakh central employees in the country. PM Modi can take a decision very soon on the arrears hanging on DA. Employees are hoping that PM Modi can give a green signal on this.

2 lakhs (approximately) can come into each account

According to Shiv Gopal Mishra of National Council of JCM, if we talk about level 1 employees, then the arrears on DA range from about Rs 11,880 to Rs 37,554. On the other hand, if we talk about level 13 employees, then their basic salary ranges from Rs 1,23,100 to Rs 2,15,900.
