75 kg heroin worth 350 crores recovered: recovery from Mundra port on input of Punjab Police; Punjab was to be delivered

Punjab Police has recovered 75 kg heroin from Mundra Port with the help of Gujarat Police. Which is worth Rs 350 crores. This heroin was to come to Punjab from Mundra Port. Then it was to be sent further from Punjab. Its input was received by the Punjab Police. After which complete action was taken immediately in coordination with central agencies and Gujarat Police. Punjab Police is now looking for the person to whom this heroin was to be delivered.

A container of clothes had reached Gujarat from Dubai
According to preliminary investigation, the container had arrived from Juwail Ali port in Dubai. In which the Punjab Police got the input about heroin. After this, checking was done there in coordination with Gujarat’s ATS. After which heroin was recovered. It was brought hidden in clothes.

Had to be sent from Punjab: DGP
Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav told that a joint operation was done with Gujarat Police. The input was with the Punjab Police. After which tie-up was done with central agencies. After which 75 kg heroin was recovered. This heroin was to come to Punjab and then go further from here. The DGP said that further investigation will be continued.
