KALYAN: A doctor in Kalyan has now been booked for running an illegal orphanage for allegedly buying a newborn baby from his parents in Dombivli two days ago.
A team of officials of the Department of Women and Child Protection with the help of local police rescued 71 minors in the age group of two to 16 years from Dr Ketan. Sonyorphanage centers in Kalyan and shifted them to juvenile centers in Bhiwandi, Dombivli and Ulhasnagar on Friday.
