Army vehicle fell into Shyok river in Turtak sector of Ladakh. 7 soldiers died in the accident and many jawans are injured. According to the statement of the Indian Army, a contingent of 26 soldiers was going from Partapur to the forward post of Hanif sub-sector.

The accident happened at around 9 am, about 25 km from Thoise. Here the vehicle of the army went uncontrollably and fell into the Shyok river. The injured 26 soldiers were evacuated from there to the Army Field Hospital, where 7 soldiers died due to serious injuries. Army surgical teams have been dispatched from Leh to Partapur.

The Indian Army said, we are making every effort to provide the best medical help to all the soldiers injured in the accident. So that the soldiers injured in the accident can get well soon.
