1. Anupriya Patel: Trying to woo Kurmi voters in UP

Appupriya Patel is the National President of Apna Dal (S) and MP from Mirzapur. Anupriya’s hold is considered very strong among Kurmi voters. Became MP from Mirzapur for the second time in a row. Prior to this, Anupriya Patel had reached the Lok Sabha for the first time in 2014 from Mirzapur. Then he was given a place in the Modi cabinet. Assembly elections are due in UP next year. 9-10% of the voters in the state are Kurmis. This is the reason why BJP has given the reins of the party in UP in the hands of Kurmi leader Swatantra Dev Singh.

2. Focus on Brahmin Voters through Ajay Mishra

Through Ajay, the Modi government has focused on Brahmin voters in UP. BJP can get the benefit of this in the elections to be held next year.

3. BL Verma in place of Santosh Gangwar

BL Verma of Badaun, who is handling the responsibility of UP Construction and Development Corporation, is being made a Union Minister after being made a Rajya Sabha member. It is said that BL Verma is being replaced by Santosh Gangwar. The party has tried to make him a minister by making him a minister with Rohilkhand and Agra mandal. Lodhi vote bank is the largest in these areas. BL Verma has been close to a big leader of Lodhi society and former Chief Minister Kalyan Singh.

After returning to BJP along with Kalyan Singh, he was made the president of Braj region.

4. Five-time MP Bhanu gets a place in the Union Cabinet

Jalaun-Garautha-Bhognipur MP Bhanu Pratap Verma has got a place in the Union Cabinet. Bhanu Pratap Verma reached Parliament for the 5th time as an MP. He is an M.A. in Education. LLB Huh. Bhanu Pratap Verma started his political journey as a member of the municipality. Later in 1992-93 for the first time he was elected as MLA from Konch reserved seat.

He was made a candidate for the first time in 1996 from the Jalaun Garautha reserved Lok Sabha seat. He won. In 1998, he became a member of the Lok Sabha again. He had to face defeat in 1999. In 2004, he was re-elected from Jalaun. In 2009, he had to face defeat again. In 2014, he was elected MP for the fourth time in the Modi wave and became MP for the fifth time in 2019. Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma is originally from Malviya Nagar in Koch.

Bhanu Pratap Verma comes from Scheduled Caste and he is also the National Vice President of Bharatiya Janata Party Scheduled Front. Being a Dalit face, he is being given a place in the Union Cabinet in view of the UP Assembly elections.

5. Professor Baghel is a two-time MP and has a good hold on the SC category

Pro. SP Singh Baghel is an MP from Agra seat of UP. He has a good hold on SC category. Baghel has done the job of a inspector in the beginning of his career. He was very close to Narayan Dutt Tiwari and Mulayam Singh Yadav. Baghel was the security guard of Narayan Dutt Tiwari and Mulayam Singh Yadav.

In 1989, Mulayam Singh Yadav fielded Baghel in the Lok Sabha elections for the first time as a candidate of the Samajwadi Party from Jalesar seat and he won the election. After this he was elected MP twice. Baghel, first a Lok Sabha and then a Rajya Sabha MP, won the 2017 election from Tundla Assembly near Agra and became a cabinet minister in the Yogi government. In 2019, BJP gave him a Lok Sabha ticket from Agra and Baghel reached the Lok Sabha. SP Singh Baghel’s family is from Auraiya district of Uttar Pradesh, his father was also in the police department.

Bareilly MP Santosh Gangwar resigns from cabinet

Bareilly MP and Union Minister Santosh Gangwar has resigned. Gangwar, 73, has resigned due to age. Most of the young faces are being given place in the Modi cabinet.
