Rajkot: A six-year-old girl was allegedly raped by the husband of her aunt in Shapar area adjoining the city.
On July 30, the accused, who is father of two daughters, saw the girl playing outside the house and lured her under the pretext of showing her photos on the mobile. He saw that her mother was talking to someone on the phone on the terrace while her father was resting due to fever.

He took the girl to his house and allegedly raped her.
When her mother could not find her anywhere. She then knocked on the door of the accused’s house which is opposite theirs. When no one opened the door, she peeped from the window and saw that the accused had raped her daughter. Police said the girl’s family hails from Nepal and the accused, who stays opposite their house, had a love marriage with her aunt. Both families work in a local factory.
