Over 6 lakh students will appear for the Andhra Pradesh SSC board exams to be held from April 3 to 18.

An official on Friday said that the exam will be conducted in seven regional languages, which are Telugu, English, Kannada, Tamil, Hindi, Urdu and Odia.

Out of the total number of candidates registered for the examinations, 3.1 lakh are boys and 2.97 lakh are girls while Anantapuram, Kurnool and Prakasam districts are the districts with the highest number of candidates while Parvathipuram Manyam, Alluri Seetharamaraju and Bapatla are sending the least number.

The exam will be conducted at 3,349 centers in the state.

Apart from 156 flying squads, 682 sitting squads have also been arranged to prevent malpractices, while CCTV cameras have been installed at 104 examination centres.
