Over the years, Bollywood has given audiences some iconic pairings like Shah Rukh Khan-Kajol, Ranbir Kapoor-Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor-Madhuri Dixit. At the same time, some actors could not spread that magic on the screen. Here are some on-screen Bollywood couples who lack chemistry:
Salman Khan and Daisy Shah in Jai Ho
Daisy first appeared with Salman in the film Jai Ho, where they were seen as a couple but they lacked chemistry. She was then seen sharing screen space with the superstar in Race 3 but in it she played his sister.
Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor in Padmavat
After seeing Deepika opposite Ranveer Singh in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s two films – Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela and Bajirao Mastani, the audience was not impressed with her pairing with Shahid in Padmaavat. Ranveer was also a part of it, but he was not linked with the actress.
Priyanka Chopra and Uday Chopra in Pyaar Impossible
This was the first and last time the actors were paired together in Pyaar Impossible. While Priyanka played the role of Alisha, Uday appeared in the role of Abhay in this film, which released and disappeared without a trace. It doesn’t matter if you still can’t remember the movie.
Shahid Kapoor and Vidya Balan in Kismet Connection
Both are great actors and have proved so in many films. However, when put together they could not create that kind of magic on the screen. Despite being romantically linked and backed by melodious songs, the film was lacking.
Abhishek Bachchan and Deepika Padukone in Khele Hum Jee Jaan Sey
The script is as much to blame for the chemistry between Abhishek and Dipika. The actors have carried some good films on their shoulders but could not impress the audience in this together.
