Cabinet expansion of Punjab government will happen soon. 5 new ministers will be inducted in the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government headed by CM Bhagwant Mann. Of these, 2 ministers will be those who have come for the second time by electing MLA. Among them, Aman Arora, Professor Baljinder Kaur and Sarvjit Kaur Manuke are in the race for the ministerial post.
Among those who became MLAs for the second time, Kultar Sandhwa has become the Speaker of the Assembly and Jaikishan Rodi has become the Deputy Speaker. At the same time, Meet Hair and Harpal Cheema have already become ministers. In this regard, there was a three-hour brainstorming between Bhagwant Mann and party chief Arvind Kejriwal in Delhi yesterday. In which Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha was also present.
Aman Arora, Professor Baljinder Kaur and Sarvjit Kaur Manuke became MLA for the second time of Aam Aadmi Party in Punjab. In the first instance, these three were not made ministers.

There is only one woman minister Dr. Baljit Kaur in the Mann government. Another woman minister will be included in the cabinet expansion. Apart from 2 second time MLA, a minister can be made from Amritsar district. Newly appointed ministers can be given important responsibilities. Especially big departments like health, local government are with the CM right now.
Right now only 10 ministers including CM
There can be 18 ministers including the Chief Minister in the Punjab government. The Mann government had initially made 10 ministers apart from the CM. However, in the corruption case, Health Minister Dr. Vijay Singla was sacked. After this, now 8 more ministers can be made in the government. For the time being, the government will keep 3 seats vacant by making 5 ministers.
