Cooch Behar Palace

The Cooch Behar palace was built during the reign of Maharaja Nripendra Narayan of the Koch dynasty. Spread over a vast area, this palace has been built with architecture similar to Buckingham Palace in London. Not only this, the palace was originally three storeyed but a part of it was destroyed due to the Assam earthquake of 1897.
