455 new Kovid-19 cases registered in Telangana, 3 deaths Hyderabad News – Times of India

Hyderabad: Telangana 455 newly recorded covid-19 case And there were three deaths on Sunday, while the number of active cases in the state stood at 8,873, going below the 9000 mark for the first time since a second wave.
The total number of cases since the start of the pandemic last year is 6,45,406 and the death toll is 3,805. The number of active containment zones in the state stood at 28. Apart from the two containment zones in Hyderabad, Jagtial and Karimnagar have most of the active containment zones in the state.
A total of 648 patients were declared healthy on Sunday, taking the total number of cured patients to 6,32,728. The case fatality rate (CFR) is 0.58 per cent while the recovery rate is now 98.03 per cent. Of the total cases in the state so far, 79.8 per cent have been asymptomatic while 20.2 per cent have been symptomatic.
On Sunday, 83,763 samples were tested for the novel coronavirus. Telangana has now completed testing of 2.20 crore samples and has reached to 5.93 lakh sample tests per million population.
NS Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) reported 77 new cases on Sunday, while neighboring Medchal Malkajgiri reported 31 cases, Ranga Reddy 27 and Sanga Reddy 8. Outside the city of Hyderabad and its outskirts, Jangaon, Peddapalli, Yadadri Bhongir, Warangal Urban And Khammam saw more cases.
