42 children of Assam rescued in Sikkim, two arrested Guwahati News – Times of India

Guwahati: A total of 42 children of Assam have been rescued Sikkim and was brought back to the kingdom on Friday, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma Said. Officials said both the accused have been arrested and during interrogation one of them claimed that 80 children were trafficked from the state in the last two years, some of whom were also sent to Dubai.
Chirang police started the operation to save the children Bodoland Territorial Council Chief Pramod Bodo and Special DGP LR Bishnoi, Whereas Sikkim Police Provided necessary help and support.
