4 years of Okka Kashanam: Allu Sirish recalls how the film was screened in 4 different languages in 4 years
It has been 4 years since Allu Sirish’s Okka Kashanam released today, which was screened in 4 different languages. The Telugu film was well received by Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam audiences, which was actually a ‘Pan-India’ film. Taking to his social media, Allu Sirish shared, “Okka Kshanam completes 4 years and this is one of my best films. The Telugu version was dubbed in Hindi as “Shoorveer 2” and became a huge hit on television and YouTube. In the last lockdown, the film was dubbed in Tamil as “Andha Oru Nimidam” on Star Vijay and also repeated its success on Disney+ Hotstar. Finally to repeat it in Malayalam. It was dubbed for and was well received by the audience and critics.
It is a proud moment for director V Anand and me that our sci-fi thriller was screened in 4 Indian languages and was successful in all of them. Truly a “Pan Indian” film. There could not have been a better way to celebrate 4 years of Okka Xname. Thank you for all the love.”
Okka Kashanam has been declared a huge success in all 4 languages which is a huge achievement for the actor and the film.
On the work front, Sirish will be next seen in ‘Prema Kedanta’ opposite Annu Emmanuel. Recently the poster of Prema Kadanta was released which was well-liked by the audience. Directed by Rakesh Shashi, the film is being produced by GA2 Pictures and presented by Allu Aravind in association with Sri Tirumala Production Pvt Ltd.
