Four students of Class 10 were chased and stabbed outside a school in East Delhi on Saturday, leaving the juvenile seriously injured, police said.
After appearing for their 10th class exams at Sarvodaya Bal Vidyalaya located in East Delhi’s Mayur Vihar area, the students were leaving the school premises when they were chased and attacked by a group of boys from a different school, who After them came with knives. ,
Most of the class 10th, who have just given their exams, were witness to this scene. Nearby school students reported that, to save themselves, the students ran fast on their heels with the criminals towards a nearby park, when all four were apprehended and stabbed.
The class 10 students have been identified as Gautam, Rehan, Faizan and Aayush. The four boys studying in Government Boys Senior Secondary School Trilokpuri were only at Sarvodaya Bal Vidyalaya Kendra for their exams.
After the incident, other students admitted the four boys to Delhi’s Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital near the site of the incident. Witnesses told that the boys had lost a lot of blood at that time.
When the Pandav Nagar police reached the spot, the crying of the mother of a student injured in a scuffle outside the government school was heard. The police have found traces of blood at many places in the park.
Pandav Nagar police station had received three separate calls regarding a fight between boys in a school. District Commissioner of Police (DCP) East said that when they reached the spot, Delhi Police found that four minors who have suffered serious injuries are undergoing treatment.
All the boys injured in the stabbing were in the age group of 15 to 16 years.
Police said three boys were discharged after treatment at Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital, while one is still undergoing treatment at the trauma center at AIIMS in Delhi.
Further investigation into the knife attack is currently underway, CCTV footage in the nearby area is being scanned by the police to ascertain who the perpetrators are. Further police investigation revealed that the attackers are students of RS Bal Vidyalaya.
