Coronavirus cases today: Punjab allows reopening of classes 10, 11 and 12 schools from today
India added 39,361 new coronavirus cases today, slightly less than yesterday’s count. The country also reported 416 deaths in a 24-hour period; It had reported 535 deaths a day earlier.

Kerala leads the state with the highest number of infections in a day with 17,466 cases. It also reported 66 deaths.

Maharashtra continues to be the worst-affected state with the maximum number of overall cases. There have been 6,843 cases and 123 deaths in the last 24 hours.

In Uttar Pradesh, the most populous state in the country, only three cases were reported in a day and one died due to corona virus.

The Punjab government has given permission to reopen the schools of class 10th, 11th and 12th from today.
