An earthquake of 3.4 magnitude hit the Katra area of ​​Jammu and Kashmir on Monday night.

There was no report of any casualty or damage to property from anywhere, he said.

The National Center for Seismology said the quake occurred at 10.07 pm at a depth of 25 km.

The epicenter of the earthquake was 89 km east of Katra.

Earthquake tremors were felt in Reasi and Doda districts of the Union Territory.

An earthquake of magnitude 3.6 had occurred in the Katra belt on February 17.
