Secret of Devipura Balaji Dham

Mahant Omprakash Sharma tells that Raja Devi Singh used to rule in Sikar 450 years ago. He sometimes used to come to a small garden outside Sikar.

Once the passers-by were taking the big idol of Balaji somewhere far away on the same way, so they stopped there for the night’s rest.

When they started leaving with the idol in the morning, the idol did not move and had to be installed there. Thakur Devi Singh settled there Devipura village in her own name and also got Balaji Dham constructed.

Today every wish of the devotees is fulfilled there, and there is a fair of visitors all the time.
