According to a report in ANI, the actress assaulted the domestic help for not completing the work on time. The accused is a resident of Versova, who was living alone in a flat.

The victim has also said that she was attacked with slippers and sustained injuries on her head after which she went to the hospital for treatment.
When her sister saw the injuries and inquired about them, she narrated her ordeal. After this, the sister along with the victim approached the police and lodged a complaint.
Police have registered an FIR under sections 326 (assault), 354 (b).to attack Or use of criminal force to a woman under section 504 (intentional insult) of the Indian Penal Code and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act (POCSO).
It is also reportedly claimed that despite the woman being aware of the girl as a minor, he employed her as a domestic help. A police officer said that they have arrested the actress and they will be in police custody till Monday.
