The newly launched Bajaj Chetak 2901 comes with a same charm as its other range. However, some cosmetic changes is there to make it standout from standard models.
In a move to attract new customers, the top two-wheeler maker Bajaj has launched a new series of e-scooter called 2901. It has been released with a competitive price of price of Rs 95,998 (ex-showroom Bangalore), giving tough competition to its rival in the segment.
It can be purchased in 5 colour options – White, Red, Lime Yellow, Black, and Azure Blue. The latest offering now has joined the company’s existing lineup Chetak Urbane and Chetak Premium. Interested customers can pre-book the vehicle by visiting Bajaj’s 500 showrooms nationwide.
Overall Design
The newly launched Bajaj Chetak 2901 comes with a same charm as its other range, featuring impressive stance and decent road appearance. However, the company tried to make it quite modern, giving it retro look. It has been given a round-shaped headlight setup, LED treatment at both ends and eye-catching alloy wheels.
Top Highlights
To offer a comfortable riding experience to passengers, it gets single seating arrangement, and offers a Bluetooth-enabled fully LCD instrument. It allows the rider to monitor all the significant information such as battery capacity, range, speed, current riding modes among others.
At the heart, Bajaj Chetak 2901 uses a 2.9kWh battery pack, which offers an impressive ARAI-certified range of 123km on a single charge. To note, the rear world range is likely to fall between 90-100km, depending upon the riding quality.
Top Speed
The e-scooter also has a robust 4kw electric motor, and is capable of achieving a top speed of 63kmph. It has been claimed by the company that the battery-powered vehicle can be charged fully in six hours. It does not support the fast charging options.
