New Delhi, December 14: A private teacher was stabbed to death and his friend injured during a scuffle with some people in North West Delhi’s Mangolpuri area on Tuesday evening. According to the police, they received information about the fight at around 8.20 pm and the two injured were taken to Sanjay Gandhi Hospital.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (External) Parvinder Singh said that the police team reached the hospital and received information that Amardeep, a resident of Mangolpuri, was declared dead on arrival, while his friend Sagar was undergoing treatment. Both Amardeep and Sagar were stabbed. Sagar is also a private tutor.
Police said that preliminary investigation revealed that the two were on their way to meet their friend, when they got into a fight with three unidentified people over some issue. DCP Singh said efforts are on to identify and trace the accused.
