20 Dead In Massive Fire At Gaming Zone In Gujarat’s Rajkot

At least 24 people lost their lives following a large fire that erupted at a gaming zone in Rajkot, Gujarat, on Saturday.

Several individuals, including children, are believed to be trapped after the entire TRP Game Zone facility was engulfed in flames. Four fire brigade vehicles rushed to the scene to bring the blaze under control and start a rescue operation. Efforts to control the fire and rescue any trapped individuals are currently underway.

According to a report, the blaze broke out at a temporary structure at the TRP game zone. The cause of the fire is currently unknown.

Rajkot Police Commissioner Raju Bhargav stated that several people are feared trapped inside, and a clear assessment can be provided after the fire is extinguished. Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has instructed authorities to prioritize arrangements for the immediate treatment of the injured.

A fire official mentioned that the firefighting operation was challenging due to windy conditions. The cause of the fire has not been determined yet. Efforts to extinguish the fire are currently ongoing. There have been no reports of missing persons so far. Firefighters are facing challenges in their operation due to the collapse of the temporary structure and high wind velocity.
