Educated son-daughter of an Ayurvedic doctor in Ambala, Haryana were living the life of hell for the last 20 years. Both had locked themselves in the house. The brothers and sisters remained alive till now only when the neighbors provided food on time. Ludhiana’s organization Manukhta Di Sewa Sabse Bige Sewa and Vande Mataram Dal have rescued both the brothers and sisters.
The case pertains to village Boh in Ambala, where the MA, BEd pass girl was locked in her house for 20 years along with her brother after the death of her parents.

His father Suraj Prakash Sharma was an Ayurvedic doctor. Both Indu Sharma and Sunil Sharma are said to be mentally ill. It was told that the relatives of both the siblings live in Ambala Cantt. After rescuing both, Manukhta Di Seva, the biggest service organization, has taken them to Ludhiana, which will take care of them.
One person was also rescued from Ambala city.
On the other hand, the organization has also rescued a youth from Ambala City. Amandeep, a resident of the city, was roaming on the streets for the last 10 years. Whereas, he used to eat anything on demand. He used to roam around the city throughout the day and used to go to his house and sleep at night. Amandeep’s condition had become so pathetic that for the last 4-5 years he did not even know about his excreta. When the team did the rescue, there was a pile of dirt in his room.
Will try to give better life: Mintu Malwa
Social worker Gurpreet Singh Mintu Malwa, a member of the organization, told that on his behalf such people are rescued who are retarded and there is no one to help them. He had also received the video of these people from Ambala, after which Vande Mataram along with the team came to rescue.
Will try to give a better life now. All these three people were living in a dirty place and were spending their lives. The woman who has been rescued is also very educated, but due to her mental condition, she was locked in the same room for the last 20 years.
