Gurgaon: There were two men to book After attempting to snatch cash worth Rs 40,000 from a shop owner in Farrukhnagar on Saturday night.
The accused chased the victim and shot her father and brother too.
According to the complaint lodged by Daya Ram, he had closed his shop around 8.20 pm and collected around Rs 40,000 in cash. He was going home on his motorcycle when a car started following him.
Daya Ram said that at first he felt that someone was following him. However, as he was near his house, the car tried to turn him.
Daya Ram said, “I accelerated my motorcycle and drove till I reached home shouting for help.” Hearing his words, his father and his brother left the house. After this the accused fired three bullets at them.
“The bullets touched my father’s neck and eyes. However, he did not suffer any serious injury,” Daya Ram said. In defense, he and his brother took some sticks and used them to hit the car. The accused failed to collect the money, overturned their car and fled the spot.
A case has been registered at Farrukhnagar police station under sections 34 and 379B of IPC. “We have registered an FIR and are probing the matter,” a police officer said.
