2 students from Vadodara in top 50 in CA Intermediate exam Vadodara News – Times of India

VADODARA: Two students from Vadodara have made it to the top 50 nationally as the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) declared the CA Intermediate level result.
Whereas Naishad Vaidya: Achieved All India Rank (AIR) 30, Dhwani Patel had secured AIR 45 in the CA Intermediate exam held in December last year.
“My target is to clear the CA final in the first attempt. After that I want to do CFA to become a Chartered Financial Analyst as it is an internationally recognized program,” said Naishad, whose father Dharmesh Vaidya is an engineer serving with Sardar Sarovar Nigam Limited, while mother glacial is a housewife.
Nayshad is a second year B.Com student in MS University’s Faculty of Commerce.
Like him, Dhvani is also pursuing second year Bachelor of Commerce. “I was surprised by a national ranking. I checked the results two and three times to assure myself that I had got an all-India rank,” said Dhvani, whose father Nilesh Patel is a real estate developer and mother Shilpa is a homemaker.
As soon as the result was declared, 25 out of 157 students who appeared in IPCC (Old) passed their exam giving 15.92% result. 22 students had appeared in Group-1, out of which one student passed. Similarly, 109 students had appeared in Group-2, out of which 22 students passed the examination. Out of 26 students who appeared in both the groups, two students passed.
In Inter (New) 927 students appeared for the exam, out of which 147 cleared it.
