Thiruvananthapuram: The state recorded 1,791 positive cases out of 32,135 samples tested for COVID-19 during the last 24 hours.
The test positivity rate is 5.57%. With 11 more deaths in the last few days recorded as COVID deaths and adding 100 deaths to appeals received, the total death toll has risen to 66,374.
Active cases stand at 12,677, of which 9% are either admitted in hospitals or in treatment centres.
1,871 patients have recovered from the disease. Ernakulam recorded the highest number of 318 cases, followed by T’puram 205.tnn
