Hyderabad: 172 new cases of Kovid-19 and one death were reported in Telangana on Friday.
The number of active cases in the state stood at 3,741, while the total number of cases since the start of the pandemic last year is over 6.73 lakh and the death toll is 3,972.
A total of 167 patients were declared healthy on Friday. case fatality rate (CFR) is 0.58% while the recovery rate is now 98.85%. Of the total cases in the state so far, 79.9% have been asymptomatic while 20.1% have been symptomatic.
