New Delhi: India recorded 12,729 new cases on Friday coronavirus cases and 221 deaths. out of total covid Active cases in the country are less than 1% and currently stand at 0.43%. In terms of total numbers, India’s active caseload stands at 1,48,922.
The country’s active cases are the lowest since March 2020, according to health ministry and family Welfare.
India also reported 12,165 recoveries in the last 24 hours. The total number of patients recovering from coronavirus in the country has increased to 3,37,24,959. The recovery rate is currently 98.23 percent.
The daily positivity rate in the country is 1.90%, while the weekly positivity rate is 1.25%.
India has so far conducted 61.30 crore COVID tests and vaccinated 107.70 crore people against COVID-19.
