121 Test Positive, One More Die Of Covid-19 In Varanasi | Varanasi News – Times of India

Varanasi: As many as 121 persons tested positive for Covid-19, while 175 patients, including 174 in home isolation and one in hospital facility were declared cured in Varanasi district on Wednesday. However, a 60-year-old patient died at the BHU hospital.
As many as 5,760 people were tested.
According to the daily medical bulletin, the district recorded 2.1% positivity rate and 91.56% recovery rate.
Currently, there are 1,062 active cases of Covid-19 in Varanasi.
In Chandauli district, nine persons including four women and a child tested positive for Covid-19, while 21 patients were declared recovered on Wednesday. The samples of 1630 people were collected for testing. Currently, Chandauli has 100 active cases of Covid-19.
Jaunpur district reported 31 new cases of Covid-19 and recovery of 75 patients in home isolation on Wednesday.
Currently, there are 194 active cases of Covid-19 in Jaunpur.
In Ballia district, five persons tested positive for Covid-19, while 13 patients were declared cured on Wednesday. Currently, Ballia has 41 active cases of Covid-19.
