Patna: Bihar registered 121 fresh case of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, as per a statement issued by health department on Monday evening. It also stated that two persons died due to Covid-19 infection in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 12,297 in the state.
Fresh cases apart, 57 people recovered from the infection, taking the total number of persons recovered from Covid-19 so far in the state up to 8,35,869. There were 716 active Covid cases on Monday evening.
The Covid recovery rate in Bihar stands at 98.47%, while the corresponding national rate is 98.69%.
Meanwhile, 1,37,385 people were administered different doses of Covid-19 vaccines in the last 24 hours. As of now, over 15.20 crore vaccine doses have been administered in the state, including over 7.30 crore first, over 6.67 crore second and 1.25 lakh precautionary doses.
